From the moment we depart from Merzouga, I will personally accompany you in my own support vehicle, guiding you along remote desert tracks, helping with navigation, sharing local knowledge, and ensuring you can enjoy the adventure with confidence. Whether you are new to off-road driving or an experienced explorer, you’ll have an experienced local by your side throughout the entire journey.
Together, we’ll cross vast desert plains, visit hidden oases, meet nomadic families, explore ancient caravan routes, and discover places that are inaccessible to most visitors. Each day brings new landscapes, from the golden dunes of the Sahara to rugged mountain scenery, dry lakebeds, and remote desert camps.

Meet your guide in Merzouga and begin your Sahara adventure. Following remote desert tracks, travel through the villages of Ouzina and Ramlia, famous for their stunning desert scenery and traditional Saharan culture.
Cross rocky plateaus and sandy tracks before reaching the peaceful oasis of Tafraout Sidi Ali. Enjoy a traditional dinner and spend the night in a desert camp or local guesthouse surrounded by the tranquility of the Sahara.

After breakfast, continue your expedition through remote desert terrain towards Erg Chegaga, Morocco’s largest and wildest dune system.
Enjoy free time to explore the magnificent dunes and take photographs before continuing through the desert towards M’Hamid, the last village before the vast Sahara begins.
Arrive in M’Hamid in the late afternoon and enjoy an evening of traditional hospitality.

Today you’ll leave the paved roads behind and venture deep into the wilderness. Cross the immense dry bed of Lake Iriki, one of the most impressive landscapes in southern Morocco.
Drive across vast open plains, fossil-rich terrain, and remote desert tracks used by nomads and adventure travelers.
As the sun begins to set, establish camp in a secluded desert location and enjoy an unforgettable night beneath the stars.

Wake up to a spectacular desert sunrise before continuing your final off-road journey across the rugged landscapes surrounding Lake Iriki.
Follow ancient caravan routes toward Foum Zguid, a historic desert town known as the northern gateway to the Sahara.
Upon arrival in Foum Zguid, your self-drive adventure comes to an end.
